Ok this is a weird one. We have discovered over the past few years of selling cologne, that the larger 2 oz bottles of cologne become much more fragile while been shipped when the weather is hot.
This suspicion was confirmed last summer when I had new fragrances loaded into my car to take to the little creek space where I like to take photos. I had these fragrance families, so 7 bottles, one of each size, labeled and ready to photograph in my car on a hot July day and ran a few errands. When I returned to a hot car and opened the door - it smelled amazing - but the 2 oz bottles in EVERY fragrance family had broken. Just while sitting still, but getting hot. Not the 1 oz bottles in the same conditions, only the 2 oz bottles.
I pulled the 2 oz bottles from the listings, but I do feel pretty confident that now that the weather is cooler the bottles will survive. According to our refund/resend notes over the years, this seems to be the case.
I am adding this listing with no fanfare except to just my regular email openers, knowing that this is an experiment. Obviously if your bottle doesn't make it, you'll be refunded or we can try again while the weather is cool. In the future I will likely offer refills that ship in plastic shatter free bottles, but for now this is my solution, by popular demand.
