This is the beloved China Rain, formulated in Berkeley at Body Time in the 1970s. In this famous, intoxicating fragrance, fleeting green top notes surround a heart of fresh white lilies and Chinese roses, while clean musk and soft hints of sandalwood and moss create a sensual, soft powdery finish. Unmistakable, with a cult like following.

The refill bottles are 4 oz. You can choose the classic oil to refill your oil bottles or cologne to refill your spray bottles.

Berkeley's China Rain, really!!!

I was born in Berkeley and grew up shopping at Body Time. This is the real deal!!! My favorite perfume is China Lily but China Rain is a close second. I wear it when the occasion calls for a more dressy, grown-up, classy air. It still has the underlying notes of lilies and roses but with a muskier (in a pleasant way) overlay. China Lily will be my everyday scent but China Rain will be for special occasions. Also, I'm loving that people compliment me saying I smell so good!

Inquisitive

I read much hype surrounding China Rain scent. I had to try for myself. It most definitely doesn't disappoint. At first, I was like, "okay, it smells good." Then as I kept getting lovely waves of the fragrance coming from my wrist, the love for it started to grow. I want to say it has a soft awakening scent. It's more lively, but not a bold fragrance. A bit floral, but not really. It's a scent you smell and would be interested in learning more about it.
