This perfume oil is a Berkeley classic. The concept and original formula was developed at Body Time in Berkeley, CA in 1970. This beloved fragrance is a sparkling blend of fresh, green notes and soft muguet, artfully balanced with undertones of clean musk and precious woods. subtle and gender neutral, this fragrance smells a little different on each wearer. A best seller for over 50 years!

I use to use Rain many many many years ago then switched to China Rain. Apparently I ordered it by mistake. I am returning it to you. I have already ordered the replacement of China Rain.

I have been wearing this since I was 15 in 1978

So...my first bottle was purchased in a store in Oak Park, Illinois (that probably ordered it from your friends grandparents who started Body Time in Berkeley) and when I learned they were going out of business, quite by accident while I was in the store, (after having finally moved to California in 2001) I bought as many bottles as I could afford at the time. On a whim I thought to Google it to see if anyone had revived the formulas and am so happy to see this. Rain is a scent like no other. A young man literally followed me into the Oak Park Savings & Trust when I was a teenager and excused himself saying he wasn't stalking me but asked if I would tell him what I was wearing and where I bought it because he wanted to buy a bottle of it for his wife! I'm going to order a small 1/3 oz size to be sure it's exactly like the remaining two bottles I have my old stock and if it is, I can order more so I can make my own bath oil. Remember how the store also sold big bottles of bubble bath that you could make custom fragrance scented bubble bath and bath oil?
