This is a feminine and romantic perfume with an intensive floral aroma; the fragrance with character, like so many of the "old" fragrances.
Karl Lagerfeld launched Chloe in 1975. Mixture of honeysuckle, orange blossom, ylang-ylang, hyacinth, lilac, coconut, bergamot, aldehydes and juicy peach is at the top notes.

I was so excited to find this site and that I might finally find something similar to the only fragrance I loved and wore for more than 30 years and which has become difficult to find. I ordered the samples and, well, it is VERY strong (you don't need much), but it's just not quite right. At first, it seems to smell like a strong soap and then winds down a little to more like an incense smell. I wanted this to be my salvation because I absolutely abhor trying to find a new perfume. I also think the price for a 2 oz bottle seems a little steep, but I'll give it some thought. Meanwhile, my continued hunt for the real thing continues.

Beautifully done! I have missed having such an uplifting fragrance in my collection. I had the original for many years and know it well. This fragrance is as lovely and enchanting as vintage Lagerfeld.
This is really nice. I never smelled the original Chloé from 1975 so I don’t know how accurate of a dupe it is, but it definitely fits the description. It’s a woody amber floral that is a touch soapy and has a spicy dry down. It definitely smells like a vintage perfume from the 70’s, but I like vintage smelling perfumes so this is great. To me, it smells very bold, and classically glamorous. Best way I could describe it is, like pressed flowers you fold in an old book at Gloria Swanson’s house… if that makes any sense. Will it be my everyday perfume? No, but I would not be surprised if this is in my regular rotation come winter since it is a warm cozy scent.
