This is the beloved China Rain, formulated in Berkeley at Body Time in the 1970s. In this famous, intoxicating fragrance, fleeting green top notes surround a heart of fresh white lilies and Chinese roses, while clean musk and soft hints of sandalwood and moss create a sensual, soft powdery finish. Unmistakable, with a cult like following.

The refill bottles are 4 oz. You can choose the classic oil to refill your oil bottles or cologne to refill your spray bottles.

I like this perfume but it’s not exactly like the original china rain from California

I like this perfume but it’s not exactly like the original china rain from California. I still have some left so I compared them. This one has a bit of a sharp smell that slowly mellows as time goes but the original starts with a fuller sweeter smell. I did get a compliment the first day I wore it! I like it and would order it again.

Not quite as strong as what I purchased from a company named “Azusa” but very nice.

Genuine China Rain?

The China Rain oil that I received smells nice and i like it, but it does not smell like the original from Berkeley. I was disappointed.
