I'm a big fan of the Le Labo City Exclusives, and Vanille 44 is my favorite of them all... but the price tag is just not within reach anymore (hello, terrible economy?!). When I saw that Perfectly Scentsable was making a dupe of this particular Le Labo C.E. scent, I had to try it. So, I recently ordered a few of the small samples, et voila! It's so close to the original (at least on MY skin), and I've found that it lasts for the entire day (and then some). Best of all? I've already gotten multiple compliments whenever I've worn it. That was reason enough to immediately purchase 2 full-sized bottles. Thanks, Perfectly Scentsable! Not only did you save me a ton of dough, but you made this little Frag Hag very happy indeed. Now I get to smell like a million bucks for a fraction of the price. For those not in the know, Vanille 44 is not a gourmand vanilla, aka it's not sweet. It's simply the perfect hint of a boozy vanilla blended beautifully with Gaiac wood, musk, and bergamot (at least those are the notes that are working on me). IMO, it's a good everyday skin scent - even on warm days (when I would be inclined to layer it with something like Molecule 01). I loved this dupe and will definitely be keeping this one in my permanent rotation. Don't ever quit me, PS. I need this frag in my life forever and ever!
