The China Rain offered by Perfectly Scentsy is the real McCoy. I used to buy this from Body Time in Berkeley. When they finally closed all their outlets I was sad because I thought I’d never be able to obtain what had become my favorite scent.
When I discovered that Perfectly Scentsy offered this formula in the original, directly from the owners of Body Time, I couldn’t order fast enough, and I couldn’t be more delighted with it.
The shop owner is very responsive to queries, and the fulfillment and shipping is so fast, I have now started to think it might turn up the next day (they don’t offer next day shipping) as it always is here within a few days. The small package is always packed with care in such a way that it prevents breakage in transit.
This shop obviously cares about its product, and by extension its customers as they go to great lengths to see that the products ordered arrive safely.

Vanilla Perfume Oil - which is a clean and subtle scent that is like entering your grama’s kitchen when she is baking.

This is currently offered as a scent in support of Kamala Harris’ candidacy for President in Nov 2024. I ordered it “un-sniffed” and while I was not sure I would even like it, the description was intriguing. I’m happy to say it is a bright and mildly spicy light scent that I am really enjoying. Which is fun, cause I don’t usually go for spicy scents.
*I do not normally order things without knowing what they smell like. I’ve been burned in the past and I don’t care to pay money for something I may either dislike or hate. That said the descriptions on the various scents are clear and thus in this case something I was willing to risk.
My only regrets in the entire experience is that the five scent in a sample for five dollars are no longer offered, the other is a few scents I wanted to order were not currently on offer. I will be checking back for those, and keeping an eye open for the sample packs.
In the end, order from here, you will not be disappointed. I certainly have not been over the years.
